Texas B-RAC
Texas B-Rac (TSA-B) is one of the twenty-two Regional Advisory Councils (RACs) in the State of Texas. These RACs are the backbone of the Texas Trauma System and work at the local, regional, and state levels to provide the best care possible for trauma patients.
Recently, the RACs have undertaken the responsibility of giving Stroke and Cardiac patients the same great care through the development of Regional Stroke and Chest Pain Plans. These plans, along with Stroke and Chest Pain Center accreditation, have brought Acute Care into the same arena as Trauma Care.
TSA-B also coordinates emergency preparedness with the 22 facilities in the region, the EMS services, and other ESF-8 agencies. This includes maintaining plans such as the Regional Emergency Operations Plan and the Regional MCI Plan.
